Event marketing is when the traditional world of interruption based advertisement meets in-person sales and customer experience.
As an event planner, I am invited to go to many events where the customer was improperly engaged. They did not fall in love with the brand or had poor customer service experience when speaking with the staff or simply were given bad directions.
Event Marketing, if done correctly, is the most organic way to connect with a customer. It doesn’t feel “sales-y” or like a forced interaction. They want to be there.
